We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure.

Ema Davis Naturopathy collects Personal Information such as your name, telephone number, date of birth, email address, home address, presenting health concerns and other personal details willingly provided by you through use of our website, bookings portal and Ema Davis Naturopathy clinic forms (e.g. Client Initial Intake Form). This information is used to operate within our Terms and Conditions, in order to deliver the service(s) you have requested and consented to receiving.


Ema Davis Naturopathy may use your email address to communicate information about our products, services, wellness content or offerings, if you have signed up to our mailing list. You have the option to unsubscribe from this communication at any time by clicking on ‘unsubscribe’ link within the mail system, typically at the bottom of our emails. In the event that this link is absent, please send us an email at  and we will be happy to unsubscribe you from our mailing list.

As a registered client of the clinic, you may also be contacted by our team to discuss matters relevant to your status as a client of Ema Davis Naturopathy. We reserve the right to keep a record of your email address, mailing address and phone number on file such that we may contact you regarding issues pertaining to your appointments, treatment plans, prescriptions, payments, and to request information that otherwise assists us in completing our business administration tasks.

We may share your basic Personal Information (name, contact details, date of birth) within the business to our employees and contractors in order to deliver any products of services to you that you have requested.

Ema Davis Naturopathy secures your personal information from non-authorized access, and your information is handled in agreement with Australian privacy laws.

Your credit card information will be stored for the purpose of processing payment at the completion of your appointment, or in the event that a late cancellation fee is applied, in accordance with our Cancellations Policy.

With your consent, we may also offer or request that these recorded card details be used to process any additional payments/invoices relevant to the business of our clinic, such as the prescriptions, products or services that you have requested for purchase.

Your card will only ever be charged with your prior knowledge and verbal or written consent.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years, in accordance with healthcare good practice guidelines.




Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

The information we collect is covered by this privacy policy and the information the third-party collects is subject to such third party’s privacy practices. Privacy choices you have made on any other third-party site will not apply to our use of the information we have collected directly through our website or online bookings portal.

Ema Davis Naturopathy will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy/copies of your Personal Information if your requests are frequent, at the discretion of our business.
